The ultimate in sheet piling

Unisto’s award-winning Movax products enable excavators to be used for much more than simply excavating. By attaching a Movax system to an excavator boom, an excavator can become a sheet piler or a tube pile hammer and accomplish feats previously reserved for heavier, more expensive machinery.

The revolutionary Movax piling concept is based on ‘extending’ the standard excavator concept. As excavators are such common pieces of machinery and found on almost every construction site, it makes perfect sense to adapt them for more demanding work.

Movax products are attached to an excavator boom, replacing the normal bucket, and can be easily interchanged – allowing one operator familiar with the Movax system to carry out a wide range of demanding construction jobs. Fitted to excavators from the likes of CAT, Volvo, Hitachi, Daewoo, Liebherr, and Komatsu, the technology has been field-proven in over 40 countries.

Flexibly, efficiently, and safely

The main products in the range are the Movax Side Grip Piler, the Movax Tube Pipe Hammer (TPH), and the Movax Auto B fully automatic steering system.

The Movax Side-Grip Piler is a multipurpose unit for sheet and pipe piling, lifting, compacting, and more – and is ideal for driving long piles up to 12-13 meters in length in locations where large pile drivers cannot work, such as under bridges or inside buildings.

The TPH 12000 is the most powerful hammer in its class. Suitable for very hard ground conditions, it can handle foundation piling, sheet piling, and rock breaking, and even pile upwards, a unique feature. A single operator can start a job using a Side-Grip Piler and then switch to the TPH 12000 when needed.

Both units can be controlled using the Auto B automated steering system, which allows operators to control the angle of a pile or piping and adjust impact energy very precisely. This makes for a very efficient use of manpower and machinery, and also improves speed, safety, and accuracy.

The compact size of the Movax Side-Grip and TPH make them unique, while their interchangeability and the fact that a single, experienced operator can accomplish many tasks alone translates into major cost savings.

Savings in time and space

Movax products can be transported easily to wherever they are needed, and work well in small or confined spaces, making construction possible in otherwise difficult surroundings, such as crowded city centres.

Movax units are the product of choice for environmentally sensitive construction work, helping ensure that work causes less impact on the environment and reducing site cleanup work.

The Movax Auto B fully automatic steering system ensures safe and efficient working, even in confined areas.
